Star Hotel Rutherglen

The Star Hotel Rutherglen was established in the 1860’s and is currently run by Emma and Coota.

The Star Hotel offers full bar service as well as a Chinese restaurant, Eastern Palace.

The chefs at Eastern Palace, Ang and Oi Fang, affectionately known to the locals as Billy and Lisa have operated the restaurant for over 25 years.

The Chinese cuisine at the Star Hotel Rutherglen offers Cantonese, Peking and Schezwan style food, all cooked fresh to order. The menu is extensive offering two banquet style meals or a la carte.

Traditional pub grub and kids meals are also available. They can cater to your dietary requirements and also have a gluten free and vegetarian menu available.

You can also get your meals as takeaway. Eastern Palace and Star Hotel are closed on Tuesday.

During the winter months, they have an open fire that patrons can enjoy a drink around and air conditioning to keep everyone cool in the summer.
