Arts Rutherglen Sculpture and Portal Trail

57 Main Street Rutherglen 3685

Whether you walk, ride or go by car you can view these amazing sculptures and portals at various locations around Rutherglen, Wahgunyah and Gooramadda.

In 2008 local community group, Arts Rutherglen, wanted to bring some art and culture to Rutherglen and the surrounding areas. Arts Rutherglen Sculpture Trail was an annual event held in October/November each year. These sculptures have been purchased or commissioned by businesses and from that the Sculpture Trail has been formed.

In 2018 Arts Rutherglen commenced an exciting and innovative new project; using street art to brighten up the doors and windows of Rutherglen’s historic Main Street businesses. There are currently 6 portals around the Main Street area with more to come.
